Super Babes Character Profile: Night Woman

By popular demand, I'm going to be releasing character profiles from Super Babes, a sort of Marvel Universe-type treatment of the heroes, villains, and citizens of the series. I call it Superbabepedia.

Tools: Night Woman wears a battlesuit made of highly reinforced armor that protects her from heat, cold, and physical attacks up to small explosives. It enhances her strength and speed and has jets to allow her to fly. The battlesuit also has a variety of weapons including grenades (explosive, smoke, and ice), laser guns, and a flamethrower. The suit is also equipped with scanners that can analyze everything from medical data to subatomic particles. The battlesuit's gauntlets contain tools to make repairs like a screwdriver, drill, and jackhammer.


HISTORY:
Lance Langley was born into a wealthy family in the 1920s but he wanted adventure and excitement. When the ATLAS implant was invented and Captain Alpha was announced in the 1940s, Lance spent a fortune to create the first private ATLAS implant, but he didn't have the genes to activate it. After testing, he discovered his maid Judith Turner did and he implanted her. She developed genius intelligence that allowed her to design and build a battlesuit and Lance became the superhero Night Watchman.

Lance became a legendary hero in Eros City, and eventually married Judith and had a daughter, Nora Langley. Nora was born with the same aptitude for science and engineering like her mother which might be a residual effect from her implants. When he was in his seventies, Lance was critically injured during a fight with the War Widow. He died but Judith didn't want his legacy to die with him so she became the second Night Watchman. She saw the end coming for herself so she trained Nora and when she died ten years later, Nora took over as the third Night Watchman and heir to the Langley fortune.

After meeting Paragon, she revealed her true gender and changed her battlesuit and name to become the Night Woman.
