The Secret Origin of Poundcake [Author's Commentary]
When you create a story like Super Babes, there are often unexpected surprises. One of the biggest for me has been the popularity of a character who only appeared in a couple of early scenes in the series, and I thought I could dig deeper into how she came about and what her future is. I'm talking about Poundcake.

Byron's Harem is Growing in "Death's Revenge"
One of the biggest requests I've gotten in the reviews has been to add more women to the harem. Happy to say, it will happen but there's a reason it's taken so long.
I've seen harem series where the author adds a new woman or two in every book. While that's fun, after a while, the harem becomes unwieldy. The harem stops being individuals and starts becoming just an army of women marching along behind the hero. That's not what I wanted.
From the very beginning, I wanted to make the women in Byron's harem unique, interesting, independent, and (above all) fun to write. I carefully planned their personalities and skills to strengthen each other, contribute to the missions, and mesh well. To just throw new women into that mix for the sake of simple addition would make the series harder to write and undermine what I wanted to do.
I've even experimented with different women in each book to see if they could stay, but ultimately decided against adding them because it wouldn't work. I also wanted to set reader's expectations that the harem won't grow every book.
That said, Death's Revenge will introduce several women to Byron. At least one of them will become a permanent member of the harem. Which one? You'll have to read the book to find out.
