As you might have noticed with names like Mine Shaft and Hard Drive, most of the titles in the series have been double entendres. One exception has been Death's Revenge. That's why I was torn as to the name of the next and final book in the series.
In Venus Online 7, Byron Jones goes from fighting on a single ship to commanding a fleet to invade Lady Necralia's home planet. (Think Star Trek instead of Star Wars) Given that, I wondered what the title should be? Captain's Log? Warp Drive? Or something else?
Well, I polled my newsletter readers and the answer is overwhelmingly "Captain's Log." Stay tuned for more information!
While trapped in a computer world, Byron Jones has fought his way through the virtual Galaxy in the Venus Online MMORPG. Now he could be at the end of his journey with the command of a fleet and the shield code that will allow him to attack the Necralia homeworld and kill Lady Necralia, ending the game. The big question is whether he'll succeed in killing Lady Necralia and freeing the humans trapped in the game or be tortured and killed by Lady Necralia herself.
